Worshipping God
Having Fun

Do you remember all the pressures of being a teen?  Peer pressure, insecurities, and temptations plague the lives of our teens daily.  Part of our wholistic approach to ministry is to create safe places for our teens to simply unwind and have fun!  Whether it's pool parties, our annual Gross Olympics, playing video games or shooting pool in the youth area, or making a run to Starbucks, the teens at Moss Bluff UMC know how to have fun!

We place a premium on worship at Moss Bluff UMC, and our teens are a big part of our worship experience.  Our teens help serve Holy Communion, assist with sound and media, and some play music during the service.  The Sunday School lesson is an engagement of the weekly sermon led by our youth director.  It's not uncommon to see many of our teens attend both services on Sunday mornings!

Our youth are an active part of our community!  From serving in the Trift Shop, collecting items for local food pantries, bringing food to local fire fighters, or participating in Buddy Ball, our youth are a vital part of our community!

It's amazing how much our teens serve others....it really is incredbile; mission trips, helping with VBS, serving food at the back-to-school teachers luncheon, church work days....you name it, our teens are always willing to serve the Lord!
